"Sometimes if you want to see a change for the better, you have to take things into your own hands."
The ICF was successfully able to train surgeons in India in complex ophthalmic surgeries and establish a more accessible eye bank. By sharing our skills and expertise we empower these doctors to go back to serve and lift up their communities. Many in the community were living with preventable blindness, and were able to see again due to our efforts.
